At our pre-pandemic peak, we served up to six locations in both paid and volunteer roles: two recovery centers, a senior living facility, an animal rescue shelter, a doctor’s office, and an emergency shelter. Thousands of Reiki sessions were given!
In mid-2022, we started again, using strong COVID precautions, with one volunteer at the Portland Recovery Community Center (PRCC). Before long, this service became very popular. We have since added two ReikiCHW practitioners, and are actively working to bring more.
In 2023, we will learn and grow from this location to others in the Greater Portland area. We will seek a balance of paid and volunteer engagements, so that we can sustain the business and serve those in need.
