Reiki Practitioner Awareness Trainings

“There is a warmth and gentleness to Reiki that makes me feel safe.”

– a client at our first clinic

The simplicity of Reiki is beautiful. You attend a weekend workshop, learn how to do Reiki for yourself and others, and it takes off from there. Business cards and brochure in the old days, website and QR code these days, a place to practice, and you’re all set!

Well, there might be a few more things to learn. Among them, how to practice safely and respectfully with the variety of people you will see in your practice. When you learn how to do that, you encourage trust from others and confidence in yourself.

We want to help our ReikiCHW Practitioners, with trainings in the following categories. As we develop them in 2023, Reiki practitioners anywhere will have an opportunity to sign up as well.

  • Ethical Awareness
  • Awareness of Indigenous histories and decolonization practices
  • Anti-racism trainings
  • Immigrant cultural awareness
  • Disability awareness

These trainings are very important; too often in any organization, they are tacked on as an afterthought, or to check a box. We want to begin work on them up front as we begin to grow. If we want to be able to serve all communities, safely and respectfully we must do this.
